Details of Grievance Redressal Mechanism and How to Access It

In case of any grievance or complaint, investors should:

  • Approach the concerned research analyst and ensure resolution within 30 days.

  • If the complaint is not satisfactorily redressed, lodge a complaint with SEBI via SEBI’s SCORES portal, a centralized web-based complaints redressal system. SEBI addresses complaints registered via SCORES with the concerned intermediary for timely redressal. SCORES facilitates tracking the status of complaints.

  • For physical complaints, investors may send their grievances to the Office of Investor Assistance and Education, Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI Bhavan, Plot No. C4-A, ‘G’ Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (E), Mumbai - 400 051.

Do’s:
  • Always deal with SEBI registered Research Analysts.

  • Ensure that the Research Analyst has a valid registration certificate and check for the SEBI registration number.

  • Refer to the list of all SEBI registered Research Analysts available on the SEBI website before investing.

  • Pay Research Analysts through banking channels only and maintain duly signed receipts mentioning payment details.

  • Before buying securities or applying in public offers, check the research recommendations provided by your Research Analyst.

  • Ask relevant questions and clear doubts with your Research Analyst before acting on recommendations.

  • Inform SEBI about Research Analysts offering assured or guaranteed returns.

Don’ts:
  • Do not provide funds for investment to Research Analysts.

  • Avoid falling prey to luring advertisements or market rumors.

  • Refrain from getting attracted to limited-period discounts or other incentives, gifts, etc., offered by Research Analysts.

  • Do not share login credentials and password of your Trading and Demat Account with Research Analysts.
